We believe that beauty can be in the grand and simple moments. It’s in the scent of an orange lingering on fingers. It’s in the discovery of a new country or old culture, in the way a chair tucks into the corner of a room, or in the murmur of a restaurant near close. It’s in the choices we make, what we choose to surround ourselves with, the details in each moment.

APT LA FAYETTE is a space with ideas for creating beauty in the everyday. We share rituals, how-tos, people, places and things that inspire us.

We are also a consultancy for lifestyle businesses to help clarify and draw out the beauty in your business. We also are a creative consultancy, designing capsule collections, spaces, and imagining new ways your brand resonates with the world.

New art to make a mark. - - Raw cotton stretched over wood frame. A stick of soft graphite. Every day, there will be another mark made. Over years this art will evolve and change, just like us.
Branches of lilacs bought from plastic buckets. (The ones from Roma women with draping dresses always last longest) A vase , black clay with white glaze in just the right shape. And little lion head drawer pulls that have been bent out of shape over

We love kitchens when they are imperfect, with dirty dishes and signs of lives well lived.
